FlexiShield's MAT Paint Protection Films are self-healing and heat-curable due to the 6.0-millimeter thermoplastic polyurethane components found inside the film's coating. Once damage from slight abrasions, scratches, and other outdoor hazards occurs, the film will begin to return to its original state. The film's combination of soft and hard co-polymers reacts to rebind and retain its shape, which starts this impressive self-healing process.
FlexiShield's MAT Paint Protection Films also contain many chemically enhanced properties such as elasticity, transparency, and stain and abrasion resistance. A self-cross-linking technology, called Polyurethane Dispersion (PUD), found in the film's coating, enhances coating properties such as hardness, water, and solvent resistance, giving the film excellent anti-stain protection.
This paint protection film series requires a wet application, and provides a matte/satin finish on the top coat, giving the paint underneath a smooth, muted appearance, instantly improving the aesthetic appeal of any vehicle. As soon as you apply this paint protection film, you will be directly modifying the car’s appearance, while giving the car the protection it needs and keeping the paint fresh underneath.
