Vinyl Wrap
Car Vinyl Wraps are a popular way to customize the style and color of your car. Car wraps are made from a thin, flexible vinyl film applied to the car's surface. We offer many premium cast vinyl wraps from experienced major brands like 3M, Avery, KPMF, Hexis, Orafol, FlexiShield, and Metro Wrap.
Car wraps are available in various colors and finishes, like gloss, matte, satin, iridescent, chrome, and more. Vinyl Wrap can be used on any vehicle surface, removed without damaging the paint, and reapplied if necessary. Car wraps are an easy and affordable way to personalize your car and make it stand out from the rest.
Some basic guidelines to use when choosing the amount of material you need to wrap a vehicle:
- 60 inches by 45 feet for compact cars (Volkswagen GTI, Honda Civic, Mazda3)
- 60 inches by 60 feet for standard cars (Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata)
- 60 inches by 75 feet for trucks (Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado)
Please keep in mind that the amount of material you need depends on your skill level. If you are a beginner to intermediate level wrapper, we recommend ordering more to cover for any potential mistakes made in the wrapping process.
On average, well-installed car wraps will last for 3-5 years, but some wraps can remain in excellent shape for 7 years or longer.
Some factors that determine how long your vinyl wrap lasts include:
- Type of material used; major brands last longer. (VVivid, VinylFrog, Teckwrap, and other China-made films are not major brands)
- Contaminates; chemicals, tree sap, water spots, and not cleaning your wrap.
- Where you live; hot climates with a lot of sun and states that use salt for managing snow can decrease the lifespan
The cost of vinyl wrapping a vehicle depends on a few factors that need to be taken into account, including:
- The type of material; every brand has different pricing options, sometimes for the same material.
- The amount of material; the more material you need, the more expensive your purchase will be.
- DIY or hiring an installer; if you are wrapping a vehicle yourself, you won't need to take into account paying someone else to get the project done.
Please keep in mind that hiring a professional vinyl wrap installer will typically run you anywhere between $1,500 - $3,000. These prices do not reflect all installers, it is only an estimation.
Order Status
Once an order has been placed, you can no longer edit the order on your end. Please reach out to customer service to assist with any changes. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has been shipped, the order is no longer editable.
Click the Profile Icon / My Account link at the top right-hand side of our site and then click the order you want to track. There will be a tracking number and fulfillment date available. We will also email you a tracking number to the email on file once the item(s) have been shipped.
Click the Profile Icon / My Account ink at the top right-hand side of our site to view your account. Click on the order number to check the status.
Regular stock items will be shipped the same day if order was placed and payment has been received before 3:30pm EST on a business day. If order was placed and payment was received after 3:30pm EST or on a non-business day then your order will ship the next business day. Printed material is made to order and will take 1-2 business days to ship. For shipping lead time on special order items, please reach out to customer service.
Unfortunately, we often times do not have information on when a manufacturer will restock their back-ordered items. However, your order will remain a top priority! Your order will be fulfilled as soon as we receive stock, and before it is made available again for purchase. Any product can go on back-order at any time and we do not have control over this.
Incorrect, Missing, or Damaged Item(s)
Creases in film can occur due to the flexible nature of the product, but rest assured that the structure and usability of the film is very much still in tact! Cast vinyl's are created to conform to surfaces. When applying a heat source to the vinyl during installation (such as from a temp controlled heat gun), the vinyl softens, becomes more pliable, and releases the creases. Click the Profile Icon / My Account link at the top right-hand side of our site and then click on the order you wish to track.
- Check that all of the items in your order are marked as shipped.
- If your order displays a tracking number, check with the shipping carrier to confirm delivery.
Once the above is confirmed, if you received a package with missing items marked as shipped and delivered, please create a support ticket. Be sure to check for damage to your package (missing end caps, bent packaging, etc.) and include photos if damage present.

Late or Lost Package
If the order was packaged and marked as shipped within the past 24 business hours, it may still be at our facility waiting to be picked up by the shipping carriers. It is also possible that the tracking number may not have been updated by the carrier if they did not scan the package during transit. This is out of our control, but we ask that you remain patient, as your package is likely on it's way. If you need further assistance, please create a support ticket.
Free shipping methods, FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, and USPS only offer estimated delivery dates and are not guaranteed.
If your package has not yet arrived and is later than expected, we suggest placing a new order with an expedited shipping method to ensure on-time package delivery.
If your order was already an Express delivery, please create a support ticket and we will initiate a claim with the shipping carrier.
Click the Profile Icon / My Account link at the top right-hand side of our site and then click on the order that you want to track. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. Please note that if you ordered a special order item, your package may take longer to ship and to arrive. If your order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages show a status of "delivered", please create a support ticket.
Defective Item(s)
If you have received a material that is possibly defective, please create a support ticket. We will need additional information regarding your specific claim and photos of the issues you are seeing. We would then make a claim with the manufacturer for the material which may take around 30-45 days. They do require that the material is sent back to them for testing to verify the defect within the claim time frame or the claim would be closed and we are unable to re-open the claim.
Unfortunately, Metro Restyling is not liable in the case of a denied claim from the manufacturer. Since the manufacturer has denied the claim, they will not issue a credit or issue any additional material to be shipped out. Manufactures will not cover any labor costs.
Payment Issues
If you are having issues getting your payment to process on the site, be sure to check over the payment information to make sure everything is correct such as the card number, billing address, etc. We do also offer PayPal check out if needed.
If the payment has been declined, there may be a hold on the payment if this was subtracted from your account. Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do to make these funds re-appear as this is how the system would search for the funds when attempting to place the order. You may re-attempt, and the declined charge will drop off of the account within 2-5 business days.
There is a chance that the order may have gone through twice or payment could have been declined. This could have been due to a slow internet connection or a duplicate press on the Place Order button. Please contact customer service if you have received two invoices to your email.
Pricing and Billing
During the checkout process, you may choose to pay with a credit or debit card or with PayPal to place your order. On some orders, we may accept a wire transfer. Please note that we will not ship your order until we have received a payment.
Some, but not all states require collection of sales tax on qualifying purchases. If you reside in one of these states, you may be eligible for exemption by submitting your states sales tax exemption form to customer service.
Click the Profile Icon / My Account link at the top right-hand side of our site and then click on My Orders to review your orders. You may compare your order history on our website with your financial records. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact customer service for further assistance.
Click the Profile Icon / My Account link at the top right-hand side of our site and then click on My Orders. Find an order you need to print an invoice for and click the "View or change order" button. Your order information will pull up with a green button on the top right-hand side that reads "Need to print an invoice?" - click to print your invoice.
Once your refund is issued, it usually takes about 1-5 business days for your refund to appear in your bank account.
Your credit card will be charged once your order is submitted. If your payment has been declined, it may still show a hold/pending charge, which will be taken off of your account within 24-48 hours.
Domestic and International Shipping
Please create an account by clicking the Profile Icon / My Account link at the top right-hand side of our site. During sign up, we'll ask for your shipping address details including country. If your country is not in the drop-down menu then we do not ship to your country.
Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the checkout page where you will be offered shipping method choices and the prices.
